FRANCES BAKER
Neurological Physiotherapy

As the founder of Advanced Physiotherapy North Devon, Frances has over 17 years experience working within the NHS treating a wide range of neurological conditions.
​
She has extensive experience working within several specialist neurological rehabilitation areas, in both inpatient and outpatient settings through her employment with the University Teaching Hospital in Cardiff.
​
After moving to North Devon to start a family, she has worked in a Specialist Brain Injury Unit in Cullompton and further gained a broad range of experience working as a Senior Specialist in the North Devon Healthcare Trust in Acute Neurological services, rehabilitation units and community settings.
​
Always looking to enhance her high quality treatment, Frances has undertaken significant post-graduate training including Electric Stimulation, Bobath and MSc modules in Advanced Neurological Rehabilitation.
Frances is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Professional Council (HCP).

CHRISTIAN BAKER
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Christian has been a qualified physiotherapist since 2004, specialising in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal problems, weight loss and persistent pain.

He believes recovery starts with a patient understanding their problems, with identification of simple treatment principles to maximise recovery, independence and quality of life.
